Application for a summons To all those who by large or small acts, or passivity, have cooperated in producing the Trident submarine at Barrow-in-Furnace, England. We hereby accuse you of;
by conspiring in planning, producing, guarding and delivering of yet another Trident nuclear submarine. Trident nuclear weapons are the ultimate threat against rightious claims for justice coming from the Third World. Equal human rights mean that the poor have the right of life, food, security and dignity. Trident makes justice impossible. Nuclear weapons such as Trident, are permanent pointed guns at the heads of all those who do not have. Trident represents the rich world's safeguard for the criminal ownership that make the poor people of this world suffer from starvation, curable illness, bad housing and hopelessness. With the help of nuclear weapons the rich countries are able to install, organize and protect the unjust world order of today. Its our common and individual responsibility to disobey the laws and power, and misuse of property and money, that produce and serve the Trident nuclear weapon system. We all are guilty of crimes against the poor as long as we do not make resistance and disarm the nuclear weapons. Passivity in a world where thousands of children die of starvation at the same time that we build weapons of mass destruction is a crime against humanity, against our future and especially against the poor. We hearby appeal to all of you to break the law that protects these crimes against the poor. We appeal to you to uphold the law of morality the law of equal rights for everyone. We appeal to all of you to make nonviolent resistance against Trident and all other nuclear weapons by starting the dismanteling of the weapon system here, today, and we invite others to join us in completing the disarmament.
